Join Us in Celebrating Public Service Recognition Week
Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) is a yearly opportunity to celebrate the everyday work of public servants and to improve public understanding of and appreciation for their contributions. Sponsored by the Partnership for Public Service and the Public Employees Roundtable, PSRW has received the support of the president, members of Congress, and officials from all levels of state and local government. Over the course of four days (May 7-10 2009) on the National Mall, more than 100 government offices and agencies, nonprofit organizations and private companies will sponsor interactive and educational exhibits that showcase the innovation and quality work performed by public employees.
Exhibiting on the Mall
Public Service Recognition Week offers government agencies the unique platform and opportunity to highlight the exciting work of the public sector. Agencies can use their exhibit space to publicize a new initiative, highlight exciting technology, or recruit the next generation of public servants. The theme for PSRW 2009 is Government Goes Green.

Terms and Conditions
By making the agreed upon payment and entering into an agreement with the Partnership for Public Service (the Partnership), Exhibitor hereby agrees to adhere to and be bound by: (i) all applicable regulations set forth by the National Park Service: (ii) the terms of all leases and agreements between the Partnership for Public Service and any other party relating to the Mall Event. Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Partnership for Public Service, its partners, its affiliated organizations, their officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents from and against all claims, damages, liens, causes of action, suits which may arise out of or is in any way related to the Public Employees Roundtable @ the Partnership’s Public Service Recognition Week Mall Event. All property belonging to an Exhibitor that is in or on any part of the Mall Event premises shall be there at the risk of the Exhibitor only. The Partnership for Public Service its partners and affiliated organization shall not be liable for any damage, theft or misappropriation of said property.
Rental of Exhibit Space
The Partnership for Public Service reserves the right to exclude or require modification of any display or demonstration which, at its sole discretion, it considers unsuitable or not in keeping with the character of the Mall Event. The Partnership for Public Service reserves the right to stop or remove from the show any Exhibitor and/or its representative engaging in any actions or practices that in the sole opinion of the Partnership for Public Service are objectionable, detract from the integrity of the Mall Event, or violate any rule or regulation put forth by the National Park Service. Delivery of merchandise is not permitted during show hours. The Partnership for Public Service will make its best efforts to locate Exhibit booths in a location preferable to the Exhibitor. Notwithstanding, the Partnership for Public Service reserves the right to assign booth location at its discretion and move booth location at any time.
Exhibitor Cancellation of Agreement
Exhibitor shall have the right to cancel this Agreement at any time by written notice to the Partnership for Public Service. Cancellation received up to 120 days prior to beginning of the Event, Exhibitor shall receive a full refund minus $100 processing fee. Cancellation made 30-60 days prior to the beginning of the Mall Event shall be refunded at 50 percent. No refunds will be made on cancellations received within 30 days of the beginning of the Mall Event. The Partnership for Public Service reserves the right to sell any space cancelled by Exhibitor. Exhibit space not claimed on the day immediately prior to the opening day of the show shall revert to the Partnership for Public Service to be utilized at its sole discretion in such event, Exhibitor forfeits any and all deposit, rental, or other moneys theretofore paid to the Partnership for Public Service.
Postponement or Cancellation of Mall Event
In the event the Mall Event is postpones due to any occurrence not occasioned by the conduct of the Partnership for Public Service or Exhibitor, whether such occurrence be an Act of God or the result or war, riot, civil commotion, sovereign conduct, or the act or conduct of any person or persons not the party or privy to the Agreement shall be excused for such period or time as is reasonably necessary after such occurrence to remedy the efforts thereof, and in any event for the duration of such postponement.
In the event that such occurrence results in the cancellation of the Mall Event, the obligations of the parties under this Agreement shall be automatically terminated and all rental payments made under this agreement shall be refunded to the Exhibitor, less a pro rata share of expenses actually incurred by the Partnership for Public Service in connection with the Mall Event.
Security
The Partnership for Public Service shall provide guard services throughout the hours of installation, show, and dismantling period, and exercise reasonable care for the protection of the exhibitors’ materials and display. Beyond this, the Partnership for Public Service will not be responsible for the safety of the property or the Exhibitor, its agents, or employees, from the theft or damage by any cause. Exhibitor is required to provide all insurance and/or policy rider to cover all booth contents, agents, and employees.
